After getting lost for nearly an hour, my group and I finally found the hostel! (lol)

You have to get buzzed in - so the security factor is good. And they give you these tickets that you have to show whenever you come in. Felt safe already.

We had a 12 bed room, but only 8 of us actually stayed there. I was worried at first, but the room was HUGE so don't have to worry about squeezing past people like I have seen in other hostels. Lots of space.
We had to share the bathroom with the room connected to us and there was about 16 beds in there (but not every bed was taken). So, the person/bathroom ratio was a bit high.
Windows were thin, we were away from the action of Dublin, but whenever (loud talking) people walked by it sounded like they were in the room with us, and for a moment we thought that the window was open!
In any case, bed was clean, pillows clean, mattress a bit thin, but overall the room was clean.

Free computer/internet/wifi access! woo-hoo!

Nice hang out area, my friends and I ended up watching 'Leap Year' - funny since it was filmed in Ireland - in the movie room in the basebent. you rented films from the front desk.

I'm not the kind of person to complain about free food, but maybe a bit more variety would be nice. All there was was bread, jam, and cereal. Not trying to complain but I have been to hostels where there a tad bit more variety than that. (Fruits, crossaints, etc). So the free breakfast is really my only complaint. :)

Overall, would recommend to others.

This hostel is fantastic! The staff was so nice and helpful, gave some really amazing recommendations for tours, bars and restaurants. Free map and gave comprehensive directions. The hostel is really big but also cozy. Has free long distance phone calls and free computer access which was amazing. Free breakfast, in a fantastic area of Dublin.

Room Tip: I stayed in a 16 bed dorm, and it was awesome, really noisy at night but still awesome. met so many...

Place was pretty clean, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast just fine (cereal, milk, nothing fancy). Perfect location-- on the Liffey, near Temple Bar but not so close that the noise kept us up at night.

We stayed here after 3 months of travelling Europe and it was the best hostel out of them all. The rooms are spacious with individual lockers under the beds and key card access. There is a huge common room which is great for meeting people and a kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. They have a downstairs tv room as well which has a huge selection of movies, which are free. Other things included in the price are breakfast, wi-fi and use of computers.
It's a really social hostel that offers a free bbq every thurs night and organises parties for hostel guests. We were lucky enough to be there for a halloween party!
By far the best thing about this hostel are the staff! They were the friendliest staff out of all the hostels we stayed at, going out of their way to help you out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel as I'll definitely be staying there next time I'm in Dublin!

I had a great stay at the Four Courts. Spent a few days there for the marathon and vacation. Stayed in a large room. Met some wonderful travellers in the community area. Their community area and kitchen really promotes meeting others. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure lodging, key card entry plus lockers for luggage.
We did have a problem with another guest in our room -- he was harassing one of the female roommates. We brought it to the attention of the staff and they booted him out thankfully.
After 3 nights, we decided to come back for our final night in the country at the end of the week.
Clean rooms, Clean bathrooms. Towel service, good wifi, separate smoking area.
Good prices. Close to sights, a block from an awesome pub, the oldest pub in Ireland, The Brazen Head.

Room Tip: Room 002 is a ground level street room, gets a little noisey with traffic and drunk singers at 2am.
