it was a interesting and enjoyable experience. we really enjoyed the museum as only seen sign when exiting the gift shop. The sign outside the museum should also be displayed in English as well as Irish as many tourists cannot understand the Irish language.

This wee treasure down an alley and hard by the Dublin Castle Giftshop (a definite miss) is interesting, exceptionally well curated, interesting, historically grounded, and covers the period before the Republic, during the Troubles, and through the amalgamation.
They have made it interesting for all ages and have a wee bent toward answering all questions regarding application.
I found it a most worthwhile hour - the cost is perfect, donations are welcome, but certainly not overtly such as in the Chester Beatty or abstain all Museums.
Plan for it ... you’ll be pleased you did.

Small and compact but very well put together. Covering the history of the police in Ireland. The displays are informative and well balanced. Definitely worth a trip. You need to look out for the entrance as it is a little hard to find.
