This was the only place in Ireland we visited more than once. We were here on our first day and then stopped back in on our way through Dublin before returning home. Great food, a nice selection of beer, and the staff was incredible. Will be going back on our next trip!
Nice place just to meet up, very busy with people coming and going it was during the day but I am sure it might settle down at night
We enjoyed a Guinness, tomato and basil soup and bacon and cabbage. All were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The stained glass and wood make it well worth a visit.
Probably the best meal we had while in Dublin. We tried the bacon and cabbage and the beef and Guinness stew. Both were fantastic. We tried the same dishes at other places but this was the best hands down.
While on a Whiskey tour, this place was recommended for the best pub to get a pint of Guinness. So after our tour, we headed here for a late night stop before it was back to the hotel. We were there on a Sunday evening so the crowd was not bad. We went straight in and got a small table, where the waitress greeted us within minutes. All we ordered was the Guinness and it was pretty good. Recommended.
