Very nice gallery with very high quality displays from an impressive private collection. The library is well-planned, with an introductory video about Chester Beatty and how he came to own his collection right as you enter the building, and the galleries on the upper floors. The library contains many beautifully crafted artworks and texts from many regions and eras.
It is small enough that you can browse it quickly if you need, but can easily spend a few hours here. An extra plus is that this library doesn't seem to be one of the major tourist attractions, so the crowds are quite comfortable.

This is always well worth a visit to see so many oriental artefacts. It's free and it has a lovely restaurant as well.

Huge collection of Asian art. You could spend hours looking at it all and it can be a bit overwhelming. Best to do a bit and plan another visit to see more. The shop has some interesting books. There is also a nice eatery on site which makes it a nice afternoon out.
I plan on going back.

Hidden in the back of Dublin Castle is this little beauty. The museum houses a fascinating collection of Asian art and artefacts. Special exhibits vary throughout the year with a giftshop of quality items, a restaurant with excellent food, a lovely roof terrace, and the round garden outside for better weather. You can easily spend several hours here looking at the collection. The art is, by its nature, colourful, detailed, and impressive. The location of the museum, together with the giftshop and the restaurant make it a very special and unique way to spend a few hours. Do not miss it.

Well worth a visit to the library to see all of the manuscripts from around the world displayed on the first floor.
