The Hotel is clean and the girl on reception is very nice but room 50 I would avoid . The room is a single bed but very hot . I asked for and got a fan but it's now 22.39 and cannot wait for morning . I should have read the reviews.
If you're looking for a hotel keep swiping.

A decent place to stay. Hotel is clean and staff were always on hand. Situated 30 min walk away from town/temple bar area. Little bits could do with a bit of a refresh/refurb, but we didn't lack anything.

Liked · Nice clean & comfortable hotel

Disliked · The windows could do with having blinds as the curtains didn’t keep all the light out in our room - not great for a light sleeper. Also the rooms seem to have thin walls, could hear the guy in the next room snoring.

Booked with friends for 3 nights. The hotel seemed quite expensive but Dublin is an expensive area. The hotel is situated about a 30-minute walk from the centre of Dublin. The staff were all very nice. The rooms are quite dated and fairly small, although clean and functional. The breakfast was good, and Den's bar downstairs was also good . We ate in the bar on our first night food was good although quite a small menu. We had to leave early one day for a tour, and the hotel made us a packed breakfast to go, which I thought was a nice touch.
The location is very close to the Aviva stadium, so if events are on, it can get quite busy.

Stayed here with my partner on Saturday to be subjected to rudeness from a receptionist attitude and behavior during our stay were disappointing and made us feel uncomfortable. Not only that he pulled my partner outside in the smoking area infront of other people to be rude towards him! Should not ever be like that when you pay enough to stay a night!!

My wife and I travel a lot and the experiences that we had with this hotel are by far the WORST in our 25 years of traveling the world together.

When we booked a room online, almost two months before we traveled, we then decided that day that we wanted to cancel the reservation and get a room closer to the airport. We contacted the Lansdown Hotel and were told that we could cancel the room but that our payment would not be refunded! We then asked to speak to a manager. We were put on hold for 45 minutes twice and kept getting disconnected. We gave up and decided to stay at the Lansdown Hotel anyway.

WHAT A DUMP! There is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. We asked for a Queen bed and there were two singles. The Mattresses were so bad that you could feel the springs on your back. I had to sleep on the floor. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people in all the rooms around us including the people walking around above us.

The room was stuffy, hot, and you could not open a window to cool down the room. There was no air conditioning! The carpet was dirty and smelled of smoke (it was a non-smoking room).

Do yourself a HUGE favor and find another hotel in Dublin! When I say DUMP, I am being kind.

Terrific breakfast, lots of choice and very well prepared with little delay ,,, go for the full Irish, it was the very best we had on our holiday. Also very friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. The hotel has parking spaces which is a real money saver as otherwise you will have to pay steep Dublin prices via meters or car parks

Room tip: You save money through parking in the hotel car park - meters on road are really expensive
