Just arrived back from a weekend break and would recommend this hotel - if you are after somewhere central Dublin. 20 minute taxi/bus ride from the airport & easy check in and out. Rooms were typical city centre fairly sized though everything you want in there. Breakfast buffets was easy to get what you wanted and staff were friendly. We stayed in room 703 and could not hear anything from outside. A few friends stayed in pub facing rooms and heard a little noise which obviously can happen. Rooms were made up very fast and food & drinks in hotel nice.

Room Tip: room 703 silent!

We were looking for a mid level hotel near all the attractions without having to spend a fortune. This place ended up better than we thought it might be. Our taxi brought us in the back way, so we weren’t sure how far from everything we were at first. Turns out this place is only a block away from O’Connell st. And better yet, about 2-3 blocks down O’Connell to the On-Off bus. Also, for those of you flying into Dublin International Airport, the airport bus picks up right in front of the hotel. In case you were wondering, it’s €7 one way or €12 round trip. It is called the Airlink Express 747 bus. It is blue/green in color. An easy way to remember it, the Boeing 747 double decker aircraft, and this is the 747 double decker bus! It will save you taxi fare if so desired. There is also a 757 bus for other parts of the city, so check into it before boarding. Back to the hotel. It is nice, clean, good breakfast. Our room is the double. It is not a roomy room though, so if you need more space, you may have to look for one of the other options.

Room Tip: We had an interior room, so no view, but fairly quiet.

Dear Philbecca,

Thank you for your details review. Our well appointed hotel makes us an ideal choice for anyone looking to base themselves in the city centre and have Dublin on their doorstep. We are so close to what Dublin has to offer and made accessible to and from the airport serviced by the Airlink 747, Connolly Station nearby and even the Dublin City Tour starting outside our door. Thank you for mentioning the cleanliness of our rooms. Our team here work very hard in maintaining our guest rooms and we are delighted with your feedback. We liked this hotel a lot. Room was spacious, breakfast was good (we ate in the restaurant one morning and got room service the next, which was very fun), bed was super comfy and location was excellent. Friendly front desk staff. We arrived at 1pm to see if we could just leave our luggage until the room was ready, and were given a room right away! Felt safe coming home late but still in a busy area with lots around. Only reason for 4/5 stars instead of 5 was that the cleaning staff could do a better job, there was a hair that didn’t belong to us in the bathroom wen we arrived. I left it alone and it did not go away over our 3-day stay. But that was really the only thing, the bed was clean and everything else was good.

We paid €245.00 for one night taking advantage of one of their "special" offers which included breakfast.

The room was depressing to say the least.

Far too small for the price.
Tea and coffee making facilities but no attempt to leave even a single biscuit net to the tea bags.

Absolutely horrible "view" out the window. As pic shows, all we could see was a load of air conditioning or extractor pipes directly outside our window.

Hardly any soundproofing between rooms so we could hear the people in the next room as if they were in our room.

Nasty bathroom. See pics. Looks like repairs had been carried out by a six year old with a silicone gun.

Peeling wallpaper next to bed.

The room just felt dirty.

€245.00 for this is absolutely ridiculous.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.
