Our stay was lovely. The staff even surprised my husband and I with an Anniversary tray of treats upon our arrival in our room! It was amazing. Staff was super helpful. Dinner was taking awhile so the staff sent us a complementary drink for our patience. Great environment and tasty food. Would recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: No bathtub in room, need to ask.

My husband and I stayed at the Clontarf Castle Hotel for a weekend getaway in Dublin. We had an amazing stay and couldn't believe how beautiful of a hotel this was. We at at the Kitchen bar for lunch one day and at The Faherentheit restaurant one night. Both were so delicious! The Kitchen grill was not lacking on portion sizes (even on the salad) so may be good to split. The Faherenheit was delicious and elegantly served.

The room had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on and was beautifully decorated. The only issue we had during our stay was the wifi started slowing down one night but after a quick call to the front desk it picked right back up. The staff were attentive to any needs we may have and were very friendly. We hope to be back to Ireland soon and will definitely stay at The Clontarf Castle Hotel again!

The decor was simply beautiful. Clontarf was an actual castle and the lobby is breathtaking. I also loved the restaurant and bar. We wandered around taking pictures - that's how pretty is was! Our room was state of the art and also had gorgeous decor. I wish I could live there!

Its a bit outside of the main area of Dublin where you would want to explore as a tourist but with free marking, it was easy to just take a cab to the city.

A great place with fantastic staff.
Rooms were quiet and clean. Easy to get to public transport so you don't have to drive into Dublin. The concierge was so so helpful. He helped us plan our driving holiday. A great spot and the SCONES??.. best in the land.

Loved this hotel, and would highly recommend it to friends. Our suggestions are to serve a breakfast instead of the buffet, and to give a property layout map to guests to see where all the wonderful bars, lounges, restaurants are.
