Friendly clean hotel just 30 mintes walk from Dublin City Centre and walking is a great way to experience Dublin. If your legs get too tired theres always a bus or a taxi. We have stayed here twice in the last year and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and helpful, had a good breakfast and it has its own bar as well as being just across the the road from Graces bar which has live irish music Fri/Sat (we meet a local DJ from Dublin City 103.2 FM radio in the bar and now listen to his (Peter Grogans Show) on Sat afternoon from 12 noon). Just around the corner are several restaurants and music venues. On a walk into town (just turn right out of the Hotel and right again on R11 Rathmines Road Lower) we eat at Jo'Burgers, visited the Church Of Mary Immaculate, had a pint in the Portobella bar next to the Grant and the Canel then the Bleeding Horse just a bit further on. Then we found a bar called "Again the Grain" which does Global Beers. When you hit Aungier St, call in at J J Smyths The cities oldest continous licenses since 1730 and the birth place of Thomas Moore in 1779 great place for live Jazz and R & B. Sorry Im going on about where we have been but I just want to go back the the hotel is a great place to explore Dublin Its a very good 3 star hotel, in a greta location, value you for money, great staff and spotless rooms. We will be going back.
