Stayed one night. Hotel conveintly located in central Dublin and reasonably priced. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was included and was excellent. It was buffet style, but plenty to eat and drink. The room was clean although dated. The lobby is lovely, but the rooms and floors need updating.

Spent last night here. Lovely decor. Friendly staff. Poor food service. No allergens listed on menus. Only choice for gluten free was Caeser salad without croutons. Other possible options not available. Need to have better options for guests.

Good Lodging close enough to walk to shopping, Trinity College and over Liffey River bridges to the primary pub areas, yet far enough away to be quiet at night. It is next to the park with Oscar Wilde statue laying on a rock. The hotel has the Oscar Bar and Grill=beautiful place to eat and drink. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet can be included in room rate. Not an inexpensive hotel. There is a Hop on Hop off (green bus) stop very nearby and the hotel sells their tickets. It was a great way to tour the city.

We stayed here for three nights to start a two week tour of Ireland. The hospitality was excellent as the front desk was always helpful and friendly. The bed was a little soft for my taste but I was so tired at the end of the day it really didn't matter. You cannot beat the location as it was close to Trinity College and right near the DoDublin stop. The Airlink bus stops right across the street from the hotel. Only downside for me was the air conditioning was inadequate.

We chose this hotel to start a three week journey around Ireland. Selected a Junior Suite to have enough space. Turned up in a heat wave in early May and found there is no cooling, so windows had to be opened wide to let through any fresh air. Décor dated, no fridge in the room for milk or cool drinks.
They expect that you will go to breakfast in their restaurant. In there the service is ok, but by Irish standards - which are very high - quite mediocre.
The room had little in the way of luggage racks - and had the feel of a 1970s hotel in many other parts of the world.
Having said that the location is great - opposite "Oscar Wilde House" and diagonally across from the Oscar Wilde statue in Merion Square, and a few hundred metres from Trinity College and the Book of Kells tour. Just around the corner from the pharmacy where Leopold Bloom bought soap in Ulysses, so well connected to Irish arts and literature.
With minor upgrades to the facilities this would be a great hotel/

Room tip: The larger rooms are quite spacious, and not that much more expensive
