I've been here about 3-4 times now, and I will surely return. I haven't tried many russian restaurants in Dublin, but this one is so good that I find it hard to want to try another one.

The food here is very good every time and the prices are not high at all.
You can get all of the usual traditional russian food.

The atmosphere is very nice and the design inside the restaurant is fantastic. It's almost worth to visit this restaurant just for the interior design.

- I have heard a lot of good reviews about this Russian cuisine restaurant from my friends so i decided to try it out myself.
- After my first visit i could strongly agree with them. The interior of the restaurant is very well designed and decorated i especially liked the cozy atmosphere as there was some live music being played.
- I got to try several dishes and not a single of them left me doubtful. Especially liked the chicken barbecue on a skewer.
- Although it is not a very cheap place to dine in it is worth every single euro you spend for a service and food quality you get.
- Highly recommended!

We absolutely enjoyed our meal in The Admiral restaurant. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Service was great and waiters could speak in few different languages which was great. Menu was a bit pricey, but with a big choice of tasty snacks, starters and of course our favorite winner 'cepelinai' for the main dish as our choice. Absolutely brilliant experience and when we'll be in Dublin again we'll definitely be back for a big eastern feast again.

I've gone to eat in this restaurant on last Sunday evening. That's true that the see decoration is very nice but that's all. The service was really terrible. The waiters are not polite at all (any smile, any good evening, any enjoy your meal and any goodbye). The waiter prefered clear a free table instead of come to take our order. The juices are served into some canteen's glasses whereas on the website, there are some pictures which show a very well mise en place with some stemmed glass and napkin folding. The website is definitly misleading.
The food was good but not really warm.
To conclude, the service was very very bad and the quality of food couldn't compensate for the service.
I recommend you against eating in this restaurant.
