It was a cold and rainy day and we had our tickets for the self guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse. The tour is not as good as breweries that provide guided tours. There is a lot of great information about the history of Guinness. You have the choice of self pouring your Guinness or having someone that does it for a loving pour your neacture of the gods. I prefer leaving it to the professionals when it comes to pouring beer. Only downside is that the tour is self guided.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. We do offer guided tours of the visitor experience but to ensure we have one of our experienced guides available, we do require this to be booked in advance. We have Storehouse assistants throughout the building who are on hand to answer any queries that visitors may have. Our Storytellers are also located throughout the building sharing some of their favourite Guinness tales with visitors. I hope this didn’t take away too much from your enjoyment of the visit. Thanks again for the feedback.

I am slightly dissapointed as I expected a bit more for the money. As you drive up to the factory it looks very impressive and there were some interesting parts but it was mainly bill boards and screens. I would have liked to have seen the Guinness being made and where is was stored/bottled. It was very busy when we visited with no where to sit in the sky bar. The tasting experience and pouring your own pint was enjoyable.

Thanks for getting in touch. We’re disappointed to hear you didn’t fully enjoy your experience here at Guinness Storehouse. We are housed in an old fermentation plant, and all tours take place in our visitor centre. Unfortunately, there is no access to the working brewery. However, at the Storehouse we aim to take visitors on an unforgettable and a magical journey deep into the heart of the world-famous Guinness brand and company through videos, installations and interactive elements such as Guinness Academy and the Tasting Rooms. Your admission ticket gives you full access to all features within the Storehouse, as well as a pint of Guinness in Gravity Bar. Nonetheless, we appreciate your review, and take on board all customer feedback.

Really interesting tour but could not imagine myself going back again unless the tour was revamped. The bar upstairs is great but could do with more areas of seating. Unfortunately the day we visited was quite cloudy and so the views weren’t that great so would recommend checking the weather before visiting.

Steeped in history, so much to take in, very interesting. Spent a few hours here, not rushed and to top it all finished with a fine Guinness in the gravity bar, its got to be done!
