Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.

Can't go to Dublin and miss this! Well done as museum, really worth seeing even if you don't like beer.

“Great amenity”

Ok so it is not a five star rating - I did enjoy the Storehouse I would just prefer to be given a guided tour instead of finding my own way around

Thank you very much for taking the time to post some feedback on your recent visit to Guinness Storehouse. I was sorry to hear you were somewhat disappointed with your visit.

Whilst the majority of our visitors tell us that they prefer to conduct their own tour at their own pace, we occasionally do get feedback that some of our visitors would prefer a more structured tour.

As a result we have already introduced free audio guides in the main European language and there is a free downloadable I-Walk on our website which acts as a great accompaniment to the tour. We are also introducing guided tours later in the year and these will be available through our website. Thanks again for your feedback we really appreciate it. Sláinte!

“Enjoyable experience - well recommended”

I went to visit the Storehouse as I received a voucher as a gift and was nicely surprised at how good it was. It was well laid out with easy to follow displays and interactive sections on a number of levels.
There are two cafes/restaurants and a bar menu available and the food is reasonably priced for such a busy tourist attraction and very tasty.
The highlight of our tour was the sky bar......it sits at the very top of the 7 storey building with panoramic views of the whole city.

“Great day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

Went to Guinness Storehouse with my family. Used a pouch for the baby, it worked better with the way the tour is laid out. You can use the lift for the buggy/stroller, but it would make the tour longer. My wife poured her own pint, which she enjoyed.

Good food, Great Guinness!

Thank you for your feedback I am glad that you and the family enjoyed your visit. It is great to hear that your wife enjoyed learning to pour her own pint of Guinness – there is something very satisfying about savouring the pint you have crafted. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Sláinte!
