Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Wheelchair access, Stairs / lift, Baby buggy parking

This wasn't a guided tour, but it was easy to follow the process of making guinness. It is on 7 floors, and includes a lesson in pulling the perfect pint!! Once you reach the 7th floor, you have a perfect pint of Guinness, the best ever tasting Guinness I have had!! with a 360degree view of Dublin. This is on the Red/Green bus route and a discount is given if you show your ticket.

I thought the interiors architecture was lovely and the guide was brilliant. Didn't really know anything about making alcohol and all the steps that you go through. The pint up at the top is good and even a Dubliner could enjoy the history of the place

I've done quite a few brewery tours, but the Guinness Storehouse is something altogether better. Really interesting and engaging, the advertising section is as interesting as the brewing process! Great views from the gravity bar too - best enjoyed with the complimentary pint of the Black Stuff! Slainte!

Thank you very much for taking the time to post some feedback on your recent visit to Guinness Storehouse.

I am sorry if you found the tour a little chaotic. Whilst the majority of our visitors prefer to conduct their own tour at their own pace, we occasionally do get feedback that some of our visitors would prefer a more structured tour. As a result we have already introduced free audio guides in the main European languages. There is also a free downloadable I-Walk on our website which acts as a great accompaniment to the tour.

We have introduced the option of booking a guided tour for groups and we are finalising plans to offer a guided option for visitors who book online. We hope you check it out next time you are in Dublin. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Sláinte!

I liked it, do not get me wrong. But the way the tour is set up is a little bit confusing. You start from the bottom and work the way up. As other storehouses they tell you all the process of making it. The reason why I think is chaotic is because when you start the tours they tell you where you can go for tastings in things like that. So you kind of have to do the tour quick otherwise you will find yourself having to jump from one floor to another and then having to come back where you were before.

The visit is value for money only by the view from the bar at the top of visitors center. And with a freshly draught in your hand, you should feel good.
