“Huge Park on the outskirts of the city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 weeks ago

On the big bus tour was a spot to get down for the Phoenix Park which has huge green lawns and a big stone tower as a landmark. It was getting dark so we did not step down to enter the park but from the bus we saw families enjoying the place, having food and kids playing. A good to be if you have time in hand.

“Biggest enclosed city park in Europe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Brilliant place to go for a walk or cycle or picnic. The park is huge and is just a 10 minute tram journey from the city centre. There are tea rooms at each end of the main road (Ashtown Castle and the park near Conyngham, Road and you can see the residence of the President of Ireland.

“Perfect go spend the weekend!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Wonderful place to forget about the city buzz, sit and relax! Go walking until the very end of the park and you will find the deers. I usually find them in the left side of the park (side of the pope's cross) in the very end.

The park is lovely to walk around and there is a monument in the middle and the zoo at the end. Nice place to sit on a sunny day. Was too cold in March to sit but huge

“Wonderful Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The Phoenix park is a wonderful Park that will keep young and old busy for hours during the summer or the winter. It is a great park for walking and cycling or jogging whichever fits your tastes.
Their is a great Zoo in the park which I believe is known to be one of the best in the world , the park is were Pope John Paul said mass to over 1 million people in 1979 and the papal cross is a great visit and can be seen from a far distance . The park also has the residents of the president of Ireland and the Ambassador to Ireland of the USA and both houses are very impressive and can be viewed from vantage points if you know where to look ask a local. Ther are also deer in the park which will give you great photos when you get up near to them.
So when visiting Ireland and Dublin don't leave before you visit the Phoenix park it's free.
