this was the second time that I went to Wicklow with this company, I've travelled with another one at the moment, and I can tell that I prefer this one forever! the guides are very friendly and kind and they explain to you everything very well, you go in a van with a few people so that's do the journey more personalised! and Glendalough is the most beautiful place I've ever seen in Ireland

Kevin provided so much information on the trip north and was an excellent driver and guide. Belfast was an interesting city to visit - very different to Dublin and well worth spending time there.

The driver was very knowledgeable (seemed there was nothing that he didn't know) and considerate. Enjoyed this journey so much! Thank you Eoin!

Thanks so much Terry. This is my first and certainly not my last walk with Hilltoptreks. A most enjoyable day. For everything from starting this morning in Marley Park to ending up in Johnnie Fox's wonderful walk to have met so many interesting people plus loads of fun along the way. What better way to spend a sunny Sunday. Many thanks Michèle

Highly recommend this tour/company to get away from the busy hustle and bustle of Dublin Centre. Our tour guide was fantastic; Janine was very accommodating and friendly. As there was only a small group of 9 of us, it felt much more personalised. We stopped in Glendalough to begin, with a 1.5hour walking tour, including the Monastery & the Lake - this gave us the real Irish experience. We were told about lots of Irish myths & stories, from the Celts etc. Really beautiful scenery & walks!! Following this, we had lunch in the hotel by the lake - then spent the afternoon visiting key sights, such as the Guinness Lake, Powerscourt Waterfall and the P.S. I love you bridge (this was awesome!) - be prepared with walking shoes or good boots - I had wet feet in trainers by the end of the day! And wrap up warm!! (Although there is enough time on the bus between walks to warm up).
4 stars as the end of the day we had 1.5hours at Powerscourt Gardens which seemed a bit of an anticlimax at the end of a really fantastic day! Still, highly recommend - each time is different and they tailor the tours to their groups! Top Tip; go on a day when sky's are clear & perhaps a little warmer!
