My husband, 7-month old daughter, and I went on the Boyne Valley Tour. It was a very long tour, but the bus was comfortable. Our tour guide was Jennifer, and the bus driver was Martin. Jennifer and Martin were very friendly, welcoming, warm and just all around good people. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our tour and connected with us. THey were also very accomodating with our baby.
The tour itself was interesting, and Jennifer was an excellent storyteller that brought the Celtic history and lore to life.
A few notes: the hike to the passage tomb is very steep. We made it just fine (I carried my daughter in a sling), but we do quite a bit of hiking. Others may struggle with this part of the tour. I suggest bringing a raincoat/umbrella/good shoes. We had great weather, but it did get a little windy and some light showers.
I recommend this tour for families with children, and people looking to see the country.
