This is an early start, however well worth getting on the bus at 6:30AM as there is a lot of ground to cover. Several highlights of the day included the Dark Hedges (one of the locations from The Game of Thrones), Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (unfortunately it was too windy to cross it on this day, but the hike in and around it invigorating), very filling lunch, then off to the spectacular Giant's Causeway. During the stop in Belfast I highly recommend the optional £10.00 Black Taxi Tour which gives an insightful 1 hour insider's perspective of the centuries of conflict that still divides the city.
Adel (Edel?) is one of the best day - tour guides I have travelled with, as her knowledge of the history, her humourous demeanor, and through her stories (yes we now do believe that there are Fairies and Giants) made for a great day which even had us singing at the end. Kudos!
