This is an early start, however well worth getting on the bus at 6:30AM as there is a lot of ground to cover. Several highlights of the day included the Dark Hedges (one of the locations from The Game of Thrones), Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (unfortunately it was too windy to cross it on this day, but the hike in and around it invigorating), very filling lunch, then off to the spectacular Giant's Causeway. During the stop in Belfast I highly recommend the optional £10.00 Black Taxi Tour which gives an insightful 1 hour insider's perspective of the centuries of conflict that still divides the city.
Adel (Edel?) is one of the best day - tour guides I have travelled with, as her knowledge of the history, her humourous demeanor, and through her stories (yes we now do believe that there are Fairies and Giants) made for a great day which even had us singing at the end. Kudos!

We loved this trip! Alec our tour guide was nothing short of AMAZING! Great humor and extremely knowledgeable. He gave his own personal touch to this tour which made the trip very enjoyable. He was very prompt and timely with the full days schedule. We’d recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun filled day!

We took three tours this week - Cliffs of Moher with Alec, Giant's Causeway with Mathew and Blarney and Cork with Joseph. Each trip was great! The drivers were knowledgeable and made the trips interesting and fun. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The pubs chosen for lunch had great food. We have to give a special shout out to Joseph because he made us laugh the hardest. Thanks to all three of you for making our visit to Ireland so special.

We did the Premium Cliffs of Moher Tour - Great trip overall! The drive through the Irish countryside was absolutely beautiful and we stopped at well-timed intervals to get coffee, bathroom breaks, etc. Unfortunately our boat tour of the Cliffs of Moher was cancelled due to high winds (it was VERY windy that day and probably not safe for us to be out on a small boat), but our tour guide made up for it by bringing us to an ancient burial/ceremonial tomb and a few other quick scenic stops. The sheepdog demonstration was really charming and impressive. I wish that the schedule allowed us more time at the Cliffs, especially considering our boat tour was cancelled. We only had an hour and 15 minutes which was definitely not enough to really take it all in - we could only walk in one direction for about 30 minutes before having to heading back to the visitor center/parking lot. I would have preferred to come back later in the evening and spend another hour or more at the Cliffs. However that was no fault of the driver. Edel was very informative and sweet, she had a lot of great information and was an enjoyable tour guide and driver. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ireland.
