I cannot remember our guide's name (so sorry) but he was amazing! This was a great day trip and you get about 2.5 hours to spend at Blarney castle. We did have to spend most of our time in line waiting to kiss the stone (we went on a Sunday), but it was worth it! We also got a bit of time in the city of Cork which was very pretty. I wish we got more time there, but we had enough to walk the main street. Our guide made the trip fun and fly by! We also stopped at the Rock of Cashel on the way to Blarney early in the morning so we were the only ones there which was nice. I would highly recommend this tour company!

This tour was fantastic! Phil was an absolutely amazing guide - very informative, funny, enthusiastic, yet was considerate of quiet time for some folks. Although a long tour, Phil made several stops that broke up the long driving times into sections so that it didn't feel like we were driving endlessly. The Cliffs of Moher were amazing - we lucked out with weather and Phil gave us enough time to explore (it was plenty for me to make it all the way to the tip and back/explore the castle and get to the coach on time). Then we were on our way to the Burren (quick stop) and then Galway, where we had about 1 hour 20 minutes to explore. Overall, it was a wonderful tour with a wonderful and cheery guide.

My boyfriend and I went on a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher during our stay in Ireland. We had an early start - getting to starting point for 6:40 am. Our driver and guide (Owen) was lively and raised the spirits of all the tired folk on the bus. It was definitely worth leaving early to avoid all of the local Dublin city centre traffic. We had blue skies on the way with bits of fog, which made for amazing photos on my SLR. Owen shared loads of tidbits about the various castles and buildings and green spaces we drove past. We did a short pit stop after 1.25 hrs on the road then away we went to our main destination - Cliffs of Moher. We had 1.5 hrs worth of time to explore the Cliffs. Nothing short of spectacular. We were very lucky and had perfect weather conditions - blue skies, air not too cold, sun, wind not too wild either!!! After this we headed on a drive to the baby cliffs, where we had 15 minutes to enjoy the views and look at the rocks which looked like moon rock. Headed straight to Doolin after that. Amazing, scenic drive. No such thing as a bad view. You either got the mountains to your right or the ocean to your left. Doolin was a cute town. We had a stop for lunch there, but decided to explore the town. After this we started our drive to Galway. The most amazing coastal drive. Owen was a wonderful driver, I wouldn't trust myself on the narrow roads ☺️ Took a lot of photos throughout. Took about 1.5 hrs to get to Galway. When we got there we had 1.2 hrs to explore the town. Was a quaint town. Lots of cute little shops, restaurants, opportunities to take photos. Again the weather was nothing less than perfect. Headed back to home after there. Just had a little traffic right before getting into Dublin City Centre. Got back to the origin point at 8 pm. All in all a priceless experience. One of the coolest things I've ever had the chance to do. I look forward to booking with Extreme Ireland the next time we visit this amazing country. We'll definitely want to try the Giants Causeway trip. Thank you Owen for making this such an amazing adventure ☺️☺️

Our guide, Mac, was extremely informative and entertaining. We learned so much about Irish history and current events pertaining to how things have developed. We always knew the length of time we were spending at a site and much more information than found in pamphlets. We even had the pleasure of listening to Irish music with an occasional song from Mac. Strongly recommend this awesome tour and maybe you'll be lucky enough to have Mac entertain you on the way!

This is a 12 hour tour but closer to 13 so be prepared. Our driver/guide made the time fly by with his jokes, stories, tour information and of course his singing. Joseph or Joey is a wonderful Irish tenor that never stops chatting or singing which starts wonderfully at the beginning and is still appreciated after 12 hours which is saying something. He is a wasted talent on this tour but if you can get his tour, regardless of where its going, book it! Cork is a nice town but Blarney Castle and Cashen made the ride worth it.
