Had a wonderful time on the bus. Joseph our guide and driver was fantastic he new so much about Irish history it was amazing. He was so nice and friendly. He had us singing Irish songs and jokes. I would highly recommend this tour company and especially Joseph our driver. It is a long day but well worth it.

Had a very enjoyable day trip to the cliffs of Moher (which are absolutely gorgeous). Our tour guide Jen was really great and had lots of interesting stories to share. :)

I hate to use the term ripoff and tourist trap but that is how we felt after using Extreme Ireland Tours for our.Cliffs of Moher day trip. Especially once we had the chance to compare them to Wild Rover Tours. Stop reading now and book any tour through Wild Rover. (You can read my review about them there).

Back to to this tour. What they don't tell you is that even if you arrive 10 mins. early to the meeting spot you are not guaranteed a seat on the big bus nor are you guaranteed a seat next to the person you are traveling with and good luck if you have more than two people in your party.

After finding out we would be stuck on the smaller tour bus, we then discovered that even that bus was filled to almost capacity. We were stuck in the second to last row where the window is blocked by the emergency exit bars so your view is obstructed

They do not tell you that they pick up at other locations before they pick up at the Molly Malone statue, so if that is your meeting spot expect to be uncomfortable for the next 12 hours, especially is you are tall, as you will not fir inside the little bus. Also, the AC did not work in the back of the bus so bring water and dress in layers otherwise you will melt.

Then our tour guide Owen only talked to us when we were getting near an attraction. Normally, I would not point this out but compared to Wild Rover Tours where they were educating us the entire time it was disappointing.

If you have made it this far in the review I implore you to save yourself the trouble and to book through another company. .

I was disappointed to read your review of our tour. There are a number of things I would like to address. Firstly we do not pick up at any other pickup points. The Molly Malone statue is our only meetup point and customers are escorted to the bus. The driver might make a number of trips from the Molly Malone statue until the bus is full. Any coach and transport company will allocate an appropriate coach for the number of passengers on a tour and the smaller buses we use are Mercedes Sprinters which are a high spec smaller coach. We do not reserve set seats for passengers nor does any coach company. To give a one star review based on the seating on the coach is harsh to say the least.

Our tour was the Giant's Causeway day tour from Dublin. It included stops of varying lengths at the Dark Hedges, the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge, Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Belfast. Carrick-A-Rede was my favorite stop of the day, and we really lucked out with the gorgeous weather. You don't get too much time at each place; I believe the causeway was the longest stop at about an hour and a half, but the trip offers a nice taste of several pretty awe-inspiring places.

Our driver and tour guide was knowledgeable and funny, he was, though he wasn't always very good at talking and driving the bus at the same time. He also played news radio on a portion of our morning drive which was incredibly annoying - would have preferred the music he played later on. But, he was very kind, personable and especially patient with some of the more challenging passengers on our tour.

There is no wi-fi on the bus and spotty network service, so if you're the type of person who likes to document your adventures on social media, just take your photos, enjoy the sights and being "off the grid" and wait until you get back to make your updates.

My advice: bring snacks and water, have pounds on hand if you're going up north, wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes, dress in layers, use the bathroom at every stop and don't bring your toddler. It is a *long* day of travel with only one rest stop outside of the scheduled sites.

Great trip. Our driver/guide, Kevin, was a wonderful leader for the day. He was always concerned about the well-being and comfort of the folks on the tour and added immensely to the whole experience with his commentary about the areas we passed through and the some of the history of Ireland. The Cliffs are magnificent! Lunch is Doolin was a pleasant surprise. I loved the locally brewed beer and the delicious treacle and beer bread! Definitely recommend!
