Sandra was wonderful throughout our 10-day tour - incredibly knowledgable about Irish history and so organized, caring, and funny. I also loved her driving and always felt safe in her bus. She guided 13 of us through Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord and its Famine Walk, Connemara National Park, Glenviegh National Park, Slieve League cliffs, Donegal, Irish country life museums, Yeat's grave, Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Ballycastle, Derry, and Belfast. This was a long, jam-packed trip and she never ran out of energy, patience, or stories. I have met very few guides of this caliber. I highly recommend Extreme Ireland and Sandra!

Did the Celtic and Boyne Valley day tour with this company. Tour group was around 17 altogether in a medium sized tour bus which was quite comfortable. The tour was a fascinating look through some of Ireland's most ancient sites - including a 5,500 year old burial mound and a 1000 year old monastery.

The tour guide, Darren, was the best I've ever encountered. He drew a complete, detailed verbal picture of the history of Ireland with names, dates etc. on the trip. He did the same at each tour site and in response to any question. When asked to explain what drove the conflict involving the IRA, he spoke off the cuff for at least 15 minutes on the history of English-Irish relations, again with names, dates , relationships, while driving the bus and interrupting himself to occasionally point out interesting scenes. I've not heard a better, more interesting lecture outside of a college classroom.

This was a day very well spent.

I booked two tours with them - premium cliffs of moher and Connemara. Both trips were very well organized and absolutely comfortable for a solo woman traveler. The guides on both days - James and Bud were amazing - informative, witty and great fun. They made the trip even more memorable. I would totally recommend these tours to fellow travelers - absolutely worth the money! :-)

It was not my first time taking a one day tour with this company and always enjoy. The bus journy is comfortable. Our one day trip to Cork was lovely but not just because of the amazing ladnscapes, also for a very "Love Spreading" tour guide. Josefh is a funny and lovely guy. You will enjoy the shared history about Ireland from his mouth. Highly recommand.
