This trip was amazing- I've done a bit of traveling all over the world in the last two years and this tour was my favorite.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and super friendly. It actually exceeded my expectations and the included breakfasts are DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS. Esp the lemon honey pancakes from the B&B in Sligo OMG. Many of the rooms were newly renovated and there was always a soft bed to fall into and a luxuriously hot shower at the end of a great day outdoors.
The food in Ireland is super awesome. Don't be afraid of the cafeterias in visitor centers or little cafes and bars because it's really fresh and almost everything is homemade. A real treat!!!
This tour was excellent value- there's no way in hell I could have paid for transport, rooms, and all the included activities for what extreme Ireland will do it for!!! Plus our guide was invaluable. He took us to off the beaten path hikes and was really knowledgeable about Ireland's history. Overall just a great guy who was very passionate about Ireland and showing us a great time. I really can't say enough about how great a value this tour was.
The activities on the tour range from bicycling to kayaking to horseback riding, and there's lots of beautiful hikes! My favorite activity was kayaking in a bioluminescent lake near Baltimore, and I have to say bicycling around slea head was super hard and a little frustrating (it was god awful windy that day) but it wound up being one of the funniest days for my group bc we had a great laugh about it and naturally we called tony when we couldn't take it anymore and he came and got us. (Our guides name was tony).
Brilliant, brilliant tour. i would take this tour again in a heartbeat, and I certainly plan to come back to Ireland! Thanks for an awesome adventure extreme ireland!!!

We really enjoyed our day trip to the Cliffs of Moher led by Sarah on 5/17. She was funny, informative, and knowledgable. The trip was well planned and well paced. It seemed like we had an appropriate amount of time at each destination including the Cliffs. We got back to Dublin city center on time (around 7 PM) with more than enough time to grab a pint at the pub.

Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in taking in the Irish countryside, exploring the great outdoors, and wanting to learn more about this fascinating country.

Our tour guide made the experience! Joseph was hilarious and so friendly to all of the passengers. He made a 13 hour day extremely enjoyable. We did so many more things than I anticipated based on reading the description online. Joseph added in a few things of his own and allowed us ample time to explore the attractions. The cliffs are a must see and this tour company really knows how to treat it's guests! A great value for the price. You really get a chance to see the beautiful west coast and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good day trip. Make sure to schedule on a good weather day, the cliffs could be disappointing if the weather is poor.

Day bus tour may 2015 with Barry from Extreme Ireland - who was very knowledgeable and amusing. Early rapid fire commentary on political and historical events and little amusing asides was reminiscent of Robin Williams in Ms Doubtfire. He didn't talk all the time, which would have been too much but walked with us - taking some of less traveled tourist sites - seeing ancient celtic religious, burial and kingship sites, abby ruins, trim castle where Braveheart was filmed, monastery with interesting graveyard , and a small town with a modern church and bloody history from cromwell times Left from molly malone statue at a civilized hour of 8 am returning at 6 30 -- much less bus time than most other tours and considerable walking. Wonderful trip. thankfully no rain which would have made brief but strenuous hill climb less pleasant. Fascinating info on celtic religion and transition to Christianity. Adequate stops for bathroom facilities, coffee, lunch for purchase in a traditional pub. 27 people on bus, which apparently was more than usual, but was fine.
