Had the half day for Malahide Castle and Bay tour.
Wonderful guide Noel who shared a wealth of knowledge of many places we visited and passed. He was very polite, witty and professional and made the half day tour a huge success. He took us to a wonderful little known cliff where our group was able to get some awesome pictures of the bay and surrounding scenery.

The castle and walled garden was great however when we visited (Sept. 2013) they were currently renovating the upper floors of the castle which meant the castle tour was about 20-25 mins long and only the first couple floors could be visited by guests. The castle guide had many impressive and little known facts of the castle. The castle from what we were allowed to view was spectacular and gorgeous in the fine details. Be please aware one can not touch or walk just anywhere. :) The church and Walled garden were great to view/visit as well. Our group had a very nice time at Malahide Castle.

We viewed the Bay and stopped at a little working fishing town called Howth(I think) which was very fascinating to me as we were able to get fish and chips, variety of fresh seafood and get to see a family of Seals. Very nice time.

Very enjoyable morning/early afternoon tour. Highly recommend Grayline for this tour. Very nice and informational with awesome photography ops of the Bay and Castle.

We went on the day trip to Newgrange and the Hill of Tara. The bus was very comfortable and the driver/guide (Michael) was superb - very informative and amusing. The two main locations were well worth the visit, and the journey was made very interesting by the driver's commentary. We also stopped at Howth Head on the way back to Dublin for superb views over the Dublin bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out.

I had the most fantastic time on this tour. Rob ( i think his name was) was a fantastic tour guide, really informative and friendly- he really made the day. I spent three weeks touring Ireland and this was by far the best day of my whole holiday. If i ever get a chance to go back I will certainly be doing this again :)

Like I've said, this was one of the best tours.

When the day tour started in the morning we drove trough the city and the driver (Richie) told a lot about what we saw when driving through the city. So much info, and it didn't get dull for one second.
Throughout the whole day Richie told lot of small and funny things but also very serious story's about the city and the whole country. The whole recent history of Ireland and also a lot of info about the Wicklow Mountain area. The places we saw where outstandingly beautiful. And when we went back to Dublin the driver put on a CD with Irish music, perfect for the whole experience and the memories I have from this holiday.

And is the best ting to do if you want to see Ireland, but don't have a rental car or the info Richie has.

I wish the day was longer and the tour was longer.

Thank Lars O

This was probably our favorite excursion that we took while in Dublin, we really loved the history and the feel of it. The guide was excellent and really seemed to enjoy what she did. Highly recommended out of Dublin.
