Had the half day for Malahide Castle and Bay tour.
Wonderful guide Noel who shared a wealth of knowledge of many places we visited and passed. He was very polite, witty and professional and made the half day tour a huge success. He took us to a wonderful little known cliff where our group was able to get some awesome pictures of the bay and surrounding scenery.
The castle and walled garden was great however when we visited (Sept. 2013) they were currently renovating the upper floors of the castle which meant the castle tour was about 20-25 mins long and only the first couple floors could be visited by guests. The castle guide had many impressive and little known facts of the castle. The castle from what we were allowed to view was spectacular and gorgeous in the fine details. Be please aware one can not touch or walk just anywhere. :) The church and Walled garden were great to view/visit as well. Our group had a very nice time at Malahide Castle.
We viewed the Bay and stopped at a little working fishing town called Howth(I think) which was very fascinating to me as we were able to get fish and chips, variety of fresh seafood and get to see a family of Seals. Very nice time.
Very enjoyable morning/early afternoon tour. Highly recommend Grayline for this tour. Very nice and informational with awesome photography ops of the Bay and Castle.
