“Simply the best :)”
Reviewed 7 November 2011

I attended the day tour of Wicklow with my sister and we both absolutely loved the tour! Our tour guide Joe was amazing! He told facts about the country in an interesting way and told funny jokes, he also sang to us many times :D I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a fun day and see the beautiful scenery of Ireland.

“wicklow gaol a must see!”
Reviewed 3 November 2011

amazing. so many positives you just have to go! take yourself back in time and 'feel' what it was like for the poor prisoners. Also make a stop at Mt Usher gardens for a lovely relaxed bite to eat with some very special craft shops to boot!

“A step back in time”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

Our trip through the mountains was adventure and history rolled into one. The mountain roads were barely wide enough for the tour bus which created some tense situations. The tour included old ruins, film sights, a still operating wool mill, horticultural interests, and a fantastic reasonably price lunch - with options for every diet. The tour guide was knowledgable about the present residents and the evolution of the past.
As an introduction to the area it was a great day.

“Newgrange, Monasterboice tour was great”
Reviewed 16 October 2011

Newgrange (megalithic tomb in County Meath) and Monasterboice (abandoned monastery with tower and two well known high crosses) were both wonderful destinations and the scenery getting there was lovely. Our tour guide Trevor was great. He provided just the right amount of information. Didn't chatter the entire time as another tour guide did on the way to Powerscourt the next day, but provided the historic background that helped me put what we were seeing into context . He also provided background on issues such as the housing bust and unemployment crisis that Ireland is currently facing. All in all, it was an excellent tour, the best of the three that we took.

My advice to travelers is get out of Dublin. See the countryside. You won't regret it.

“Day Tour of Wicklow”
Reviewed 12 October 2011

We were happy to participate on a one day trip to Wicklow south of Dublin. Even if the weather was rainy and foggy, our guide and driver Joe, managed to make this trip to a day we will remember from our stay in Dublin. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to friends, family and other who are interested in the irish countryside.
