We knew this place would be good when we saw it was full of Italians. The pizza was very good - imagine it was as close to genuine Italian pizzas you're going to get. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Have tried a lot of Italian restaurants and pizza places around Dublin and this has to be the nicest of this kind I've tried to date. 10/10 will definitely be going back. Antipasto, Capricciosa pizza and white wine!

Three of us called in one cold day but were told there was going to be a wait. At first, we were just going to find another venue that was recommended to us, but then we saw the pizza and just knew we were going to wait.

So, we waited and came back. Our table was waiting and the staff member was smiling at us. After debating the menu with each other we made our choices.

Starters were carpaccio and calamari. The carpaccio was so good and the artichokes that came with it were excellent. The calamari was enhaled and was very generous.

Mains - Pizza, basically. 2 picante and one capricciosa. They were very good. Nice heat to the picante, but nothing that will linger. The sausage on the capricciosa was very nice and meaty.

Desserts - Tiramisu was excellent

Good clean venue, nice staff, decent menu that sticks to basics for the most part.

Visited this place on december 2th. Very good food and superb service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. One of the waiters must be the fastest one in Dublin! And we were impressed when the female manager in a discreet but resolute manner guided a toxicated man to the street. We have to point out that he was toxicated when arriving to the restaurant. Very respectable by the manager. We really recommend this place!

Myself and my brother were hungry and looking for a bite when we spotted Forno 500. A quick look on Trip Advisor looked promising, so we popped in. We were greeted by the most accommodating and friendly waitress who allowed us to choose a seat where we liked. The restaurant was moderately busy at the time around 2.30-3pm.
My first impression was Wow, the atmosphere and lighting is beautiful! A fresh jug of water was promptly placed - even the water tasted good!
We ordered the same pizzas (Amatriciana? My spelling is likely off here) with a knowing “yes good choice, delicious pizza” from our lovely waitress. The pizza was a world apart from the typical pizza .... and absolutely delicious!!! The dough was fresh and soft, toppings not overwhelming the delicious sauce and cheese. Portion size was perfect for one person each without feeling completely stuffed.
We wolfed these down and decided to go with a coffee and tiramisu to finish - again delicious. In fact, the coffee and atmosphere was so good we stayed for a second americano!
The food in itself would be enough for me to highly recommend, although our waitress really was a prized asset to the restaurant and made our afternoon so enjoyable. She laughed and joked along with us, all while serving us efficiently. The bill surprised me in a good way! As we were leaving , we were warmly waved goodbye and thanked for our custom by the staff, including ?the owner/management who were seated at the bar.
I cannot find fault with this restaurant , a brilliant first experience and will be back to sample more!
