When we arrived at night, we thought it might be a bit off, but in the morning it all comes to life and we liked the location a lot. There's enough going on, without having drunken tourists roaming through the streets in the evening. The appartment itself is pretty and perfectly clean. We had no issues whatsoever and the owners are perfeclty nice and easy to reach. Highly recommended
I rented the flat for the entire month, and it was the perfect "home away from home." Great location - close to Guinness and Christ Church area - and an easy walk to Temple Bar area. Kevin & Didi quickly responded to any questions I had. It has everything you need - even a washer, which was handy in the unusually hot weather. There can be some street noise from the pubs down the block on the weekends - which didn't bother me, but if you're a light sleeper, it could be an issue. It's a secure building, and I never felt unsafe in the area. A great spot to drink in the local culture, away from the tourist areas.
Stayed for 4 nights in Engine Alley 4. It's a nice flat and well equiped and very light and spacious. The bed is comfortable and the the flat was warm despite some very cold weather!
We wanted to be able to walk to the central area of Dublin and it was in a great location for this. Temple Bar area is a 10 -15 minute walk as is the river. The Guinness factory is just around the corner.
Kevin was very helpful and friendly and we had a very enjoyable and successful trip to Dublin.
This apartment was terrific (two parents and adult child). Clean, modern, full kitchen and washing machine. And it was wonderfully situated in the heart of Dublin. We were able to walk everywhere. And it is near three supermarkets. We could also easily walk to the Dart (Pearse station) and took day trips (Bray-Greystone and Howth). Kevin and Didi were kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
