We stayed in these apartments for 2 nights last week with two children aged 15 and 11. Staff were very helpful. Great location- very close to Christchurch and Dublinia and easy walk to Collins Barracks (15 mins) and Grafton Street (about 20 mins). The apartment was clean although could have done with a lick of paint and some new carpets. We had no problem with the plumbing and hot water seemed fine. The shower was a bit feeble but ok. There are lots of handy food stores so easy to get food for breakfast. We had lunch at The Brazen Head which was great.

booked 4 rooms at St Augustine for the Round Table Bi Annual rugby trip to Dublin. We had stayed there 2 years ago, and found that the place was as good as before, and this time we were lucky enough to get an upgrade (not asked for). Only 15mins walk from Temple Bar... safe area near Christchurch cathedral. Would recommendt to anyone.

The apartments look nice, but examine them a little more closely and there are some serious issues.

Pros: They are well-furnished, quiet and secure. There is undercover parking provided (at €14 a day) and a 24 hour reception.

Cons: the shower system is, as mentioned many times, outdated and inadequately timed for a multiple-occupancy complex. You will get one decent shower per apartment per day unless you are willing to have everyone wait two hours between washes.

Secondly, the level of cleaning is patchy. Whilst our apartment seemed mostly clean there were some thick dark stains on areas of the curtains, skirting and floors. I guess that is forgivable but...

The biggest issue? BEDBUGS!
Both I and my fellow guest woke up with bedbug bites all over our bodies. Of course no business would ever admit liability for such a thing but it is the first place on my travels that I have encountered the beasties, and it took just longer than 24 hours for the problem to manifest. Our stay was far too lengthy for there to be another culprit.

You have been warned.

Ideal for a short stay in Dublin without the constraints and expense of city centre hotels.
located a 5 min walk from O Connell street, temple bar and other city centre attractions.
Rooms were clean and apartment was a nice size. For a group of 7 an ensuite or extra toilet would have helped although ensuite apartments are available.
For the price we paid, I considered these great value. Will be staying here again.

I was very happy with the apartment. Though you may find that taxi drivers don't know the address. The apartment is in a fantastic location, round the corner from the Temple Bar pub and variouae other pubs. A handy cafe directly opposite that does takeaways. My favorite feature was the bathroom. Very spaciouse with a proper shower and a bath! It really was a nice apartment and I would definetly stay again. I would recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a drinking and pub crawling holiday!!! =)
