Staff seemed overwhelmed and no one came to ask how were our meals (despite our tying to wave them over). One meal - the Lamb stew- was mostly inedible, full of gristle, undercooked lamb (stew never has pink meat in it) and contained only potatoes, no veggies in a thin gruel. Others at the table were finished eating by the time we got the attention of staff regarding this meal. To be fair, the restaurant took this meal off the final bill, but the experience was not good for our last dinner in Dublin. Why a chef would let this (lack of) quality leave the kitchen is unexplainable. Other dinners were o.k. and quite generous servings. All wines on wine list were not available, and the list needed reprinting as it was very stained.

Ate here twice for dinner. Steak pie was wonderful as was the soup and trifle for dessert. A lot of interesting decor to look at while waiting for your food. Price is reasonable and it wasn't crowded and noisy.

Came here for a family dinner after a day of touring Dublin. Our server seemed new and not very informed of the menu items, but it was pretty easy to find a good meal. We all got something different; fish and chips, Irish stew, seafood chowder, etc, and all was very delicious! Only issue was where our table was close to the outside patio area where people were smoking.
