You have to stay here, This was the best of our 8 nights stays, we got in a little after 8 p.m. but they were up waiting for us with the warmest welcome. We had a great nights sleep and then the breakfast! They have a buffet with all sorts of things home baked breads and home made jams, Oh and REAL COFFEE, coffee in Ireland is not like US coffee except here. These hosts are wonderful. Try the ginger bread, so good

Room tip: King beds available

The Manor is situated just off the highway. We stayed in the Lady Nuala room on the second floor. Please note there are no lifts so if you can’t do stairs or carry luggage ask for a ground floor room. The manor is not a sleek modern accommodation, doors are older. However it is spotless, our room was spacious and had everything we needed including a small refrigerator. We were a bit tired and wet after climbing up to the Slieve League Cliffs and the welcome we received was absolutely brilliant. Riordan (sp?) made us a coffee and pot of tea accompanied by ginger and banana bread. We could not have had a better beginning to our stay. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The hotel is located a short distance out of town.

A lovely B&B just outside of town. Donegal Manor is quite grand with spacious bedrooms, king size beds, and wonderful amenities. The Manor is immaculate and the proprietors, Michael and Marie are delightful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. When I return to Ireland, I will most certainly stay here again. I highly recommend the Donegal Manor.

We quite enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Receptionist could not have been more welcoming. On a cold wet day, we were asked if we would like a coffee or tea. It really hit the spot as did the banana and ginger bread slices.

Hot and cold buffet breakfast was very good.

Would return.
