Lovely cozy rooms. A quite location on the edge of Donegal Town. Walking distance to the harbour. Amazing breakfasts. And Theresa and Sarah were so friendly and helpful. We'll go back for sure if we ever return to Donegal!

Ard na Breatha is situated less than 5 minutes from Donegal Town . The dwelling stands alone and is beautifully maintained ,so driving in I just had a good feeling about the place and it didn’t disappoint.
My sister and myself had a long journey from Cork so we were tired , there was a warm welcome the registration process was fast and easy and we were escorted to our room .
The room was a good size beds were comfy there were tea/coffee making facilities the ensuite was clean had a great shower and clean towels available if required daily .
The window opened wide and allowed for cool air to circulate the heatwave was in full swing at this stage !
The breakfast was home cooked plentiful and well presented with plenty options
The biggest plus to this lovely place was our host Teresa so welcoming , warm , kind ,friendly and helpful . She made us feel like we were the only people there even though it was obvious she was very busy .

There is very little not to like about Ard na Breatha maybe a larger TV in the room would be my only suggestion but I guess I can do without that for a week
We loved our stay..... this is a place you can only enjoy and would certainly recommend it

Stayed for one night while cycling the Wild Atlantic Way.A pleasant, comfortable room in an attractive rustic Irish style decor where an excellent breakfast was served.A lovely house in a lovely location above the fascinating town of Donegal, so easy to walk down into.A bit disappointed that no evening meals were available but it meant that we did get to explore the town more thoroughly.

Ard na Breatha is a lovely country like setting. We had warm welcome upon our arrival. There's nothing quite like the sounds of bleating lambs on the other side of the fence. We were shown to our room which was spacious, bright, clean and very homey. The inn was very quiet and restful. We were given lots of good advice from places to eat, to walking directions into town, to instructions around the property. The breakfast in the morning was made to order and very delicious. The fruits and yogurt were also a lovely addition to the hot breakfast. The staff were lovely and full of any suggestions we might have asked for. We would highly recommend Ard na Breatha.

This was my favorite accommodation during our two-week trip to Ireland. Perfect place to stop, rest, and relax. The B&B is set in an idyllic country location. We slept wonderfully and enjoyed hearing the sheep in the morning when we woke up. Breakfast was also delicious!
