From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and all through our stay we were given the most professional treatment. The lunch was fabulous and there were no delays despite huge numbers. The hotel rooms are fabulous and the attention to detail stands out. The bar has a great ambience and cannot wait for my next visit. Easily the best hotel I have visited nothing to complain about. I am coeliac and I had all my requirements met including a gluten free table at breakfast with croissants which were fabulous

Myself and my mum visited Harvey's Point as a birthday treat. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so special. We were greeted by Noel and the wonderful reception staff. The room was fabulous and so luxurious no detail was left out. The Sunday lunch was wonderful also. We enjoyed a nice walk afterwards in the fabulous grounds. Harveys Point is truly a wonderful experience that everyone should try it's a little bit of heaven in our county and we are truly lucky to have it. Keep doing what you're doing because it's truly magnificent! Thanks so much Lisa and Hylda.

We stayed for two nights in a Premium Suite, which was a big as some houses. You couldn’t be disappointed with the rooms, no matter which type you chose and there is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Our room had an entrance lobby; a large bathroom with twin sinks, double shower, vanity, jacuzzi bath, toilet and bidet and enough floor space for the same again; two large wardrobes with plenty of clothes hangers in a dressing area; a mini-bar with fresh milk and cookies; the main bedroom area can be screened off with heavy curtains and there’s a desk and chair; sofa; two high-backed chairs with foot stools; TV with a good choice of channels (it’s great to be able to watch entertaining TV as well as the obligatory news channels you get in some hotels); and a smaller table and two chairs. Loads of electrical outlets (but no USB) and the lights can be controlled easily from the bedside. Somebody has got it wrong - I can’t believe Harvey’s Point is only 4*, it should be 5* without a doubt.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the service was great. The weather wasn’t so good but the hotel made up for it and we could have just sat and looked out over Lough Eske all day.

We ate at the bar the first night and enjoyed the fish and chips. There was a wide menu choice available for breakfast, including some choices which were available on request directly from the chef. The restaurant has great views over the lough and we really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant on the second night – the parsnip soup and the venison were fantastic. The restaurant was full, so book early if you want a window seat (although that’s not as important in the dark evenings!)

Great location for exploring Donegal and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Can’t wait to go back.

Room tip: You couldn’t be disappointed with any of the rooms
