We had a Lakeview room overlooking Lough Eske. The accomodation was of an exceptionally high standard and was matched by all of the other facilities in the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and although the atmosphere was relaxed everything operated very effectively and efficiently. We have travelled extensively over the years and stayed in some of the major hotels in the world and I would suggest that Harvey's Point is up with the best. It is easy to see why it has been voted the No.1 hotel in Ireland for the past 4 years.

Room tip: Lakeview rooms have an excellent outlook over Lough Eske

Visited last Sunday for lunch, place was booked up until 4.30pm but was extended until 5 pm to take our booking, they were still serving Sunday lunch after 6pm. It was extremely busy when we arrived, but everything is very efficient and staff are very pleasant and attentive. Hotel has beautiful surroundings and interior. Lunch was very nice served with a smile and very good value. Can't wait to go again. Very pleasant experience.

The bathroom we had was bigger than a normal Hotel Room ! The bed great, perfect WiFi and TV and the room was very quiet and peaceful.
The service was also top class so why would you want to go elsewhere ??

My wife and I booked a weekend at Harvey's Point as a treat for my 61st birthday celebrations.
We had visited before and really had a marvellous stay but a long time ago and we were intrigued to see whether the larger hotel setup could manage to be a convivial and friendly.
We were not disappointed.
From check-in to check-out we only have good things to say about Harvey's Point.
Firstly, and I understand that this may be unrelated to my birthday, we were upgraded from a Double Suite to the Penthouse Suite. Nice surprise indeed.
The receptionist wished me a happy birthday at check-in and shortly after settling in to our suite a member of staff arrived at out door with a birthday card and a couple of muffins, compliments of the house.
At the end of a delicious dinner that night my dessert arrived on a plate adorned with birthday wishes on the plate piped in chocolate. They didn't make a song and dance about it but I was pleased.
We enjoyed another splendid meal in the bar on Sunday evening in really relaxing surroundings.
My personal recommendation is the porridge for breakfast. I have porridge every day for breakfast but HP's was the most enjoyable I've ever enjoyed.
At check-out everything was spot on with respect to the bill and we were offered water to take with us for our journey.
What was really impressive and homely was that at dinner and during breakfast in the restaurant we were spoken to in very friendly terms by the proprietor Deirdre McGlone. We watched as she did the rounds. She is truly the embodiement of family values and how to mingle with guests as if they were part of the family.

Room tip: Suites are well appointed and spacious. The lakeside rooms are really quiet and tranquil.

Beautiful room in the lakeside suites and a great night's craic at the Dinner Cabaret on Wednesday night. The food was so delicious we had dinner in the bar on our second night too, and the breakfasts were amazing. Can't wait to go back! My only issue would have been for heavier curtains or blackout linings in the bedroom.
