Without doubt, this hotel deserves its No 1 rating for Travellers' Choice Top hotels in Ireland. I have just returned from a 2-night stay and it was a totally wonderful experience.
The staff are courteous and efficient and go that extra mile to ensure that any request is dealt with without fuss. The hotel manager, Noel, is a true professional and greets everyone with a smile and warmth that clearly comes from the heart.
Hotel rooms are vast with bathrooms that are as large as some standard hotel rooms.
The food is amazing. What more can I say?
If you have the opportunity, spend a night at Harvey's Point. You will not be disappointed.

This has been our third visit to Harveys Point in Donegal. It never fails to impress! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were treated like Kings. On arrival the receptionist informed us we were upgraded and this was a fantastic surprise. The room was Amazing! 2 large beds and a sofa bed, private area and a large bathroom. The best room we never ever stayed whilst away on holiday. The service from the staff is outstanding and the food devine. Nancy in the restaurant looked after us all every morning and evening and kept us the best table in the restaurant. This was such a personal touch. Thank you Nancy. The Easter bunnies in the room was another special treat. The owners organised a meet and greet in the Drawing room which wine was on offer for everyone. Deirdre and her little girl were a pleasure to meet and chat to. Noel the manager is fantastic at his job and great fun. Ciaran, Colm and Marie were lovely people and fantastic at their jobs. I can see why this hotel is number 1 in Ireland!

Room Tip: Ask for lake view. All rooms are fabulous!

Stayed in Harvey's Point on Easter Sunday & Monday. We were made more than welcome by the beautiful staff. We stayed in a superior lakeshore suite and it was more than we expected . Went for the carvery on sunday and ate in the restaurant on Monday evening and it was just delicious and again staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back soon xx

Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, Harvey's Point combines luxury, beauty and quality with the homeliness of the Donegal locals. The atmosphere in this wonderful hotel is unmatched as it combines the personal attention of a family run hotel with the standards one would expect of the biggest and best. Harvey's Point has it all. Luxury, tranquility and warmth. This will be my secret haven, my retreat and my treat! Excellent all round.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent - huge, luxurious and with every comfort

Every attention to detail is so well thought out - the rooms are amazing - a total luxurious experience down to even a chocolate Easter bunny and the homemade cookies left in the room. The staff are so friendly from our first foot through the door to bar staff, waiting staff and chamber girls, a very warm and friendly bunch of people.

Room Tip: We stayed in 214 on 2nd floor and we could see the lake
