From the moment we arrived to this lovely B&B 10 minutes drive from Donegal, we were given a warm welcome. Literally warm, as it was during the hottest summer spell in Irish history. Sile was always on hand to make sure we were happy, even getting a fan for our room. Breakfast was great--I especially loved the warm scones and her savoury scramble. A great stay! Thank you!

Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the owner Sheila who went on to be an impeccable hostess. Room was immaculate, decorated to a high standard with extremely comfortable beds; bathroom was beautiful with a great roomy shower. The breakfast menu is amazing, better than any hotel I've stayed in and the food was delicious, you definitely would never go hungry when staying at the Gap Lodge. Ample parking and lovely quiet area. The service Sheila provides can not be faulted, she has a lovely personality and is extremely willing to please. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Gap Lodge to anyone there are no negatives to mention we absolutely loved the place. Thanks Sheila.

Room Tip: Hospitality; great food; clean; central; great views.

Stayed here while were over for a family wedding just down the road. What an amazing place, we were given such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived.
The rooms are of a good size and the showers are excellent and even though it’s just of a main road it’s very quiet.
There is an excellent choice for breakfast from Fruit, yogurt and cereals to a full Irish breakfast ( this will fill you for the day ) and a fine selection of home baked breads.
There is also an unusual breakfast called pineapple toast ( yes it is real )
The host Sile ( Shelia ) was amazing and made us all feel welcome and at home and nothing was to much trouble for her.
This would be good for a central base if you wanted to go exploring either Ireland or Northern Ireland as both within easy reach.
We will defiantly be coming back the next time we are over this way.
