After traveling through Cork and Kerry for a week, simple appealed to me. So, I went with the Burger (as did my partner). The burger was excellent (in Ireland, by law they are always well done). If you are getting the burger, don't load up on the bread brought to the table (hard to resist) as the burger has a huge bun and the obligatory fries. When in Cork, Murphy's stout rules and not Guinness--fine by me! A Murphy's and a Perrott burger is a perfect pairing.

Went here for my birthday. Decor is gorgeous. Lovely calming room. Service was second to none. Greeted with home made brown bread with homemade pesto, butter and hummus! Got the steak for main. Tiny bit tougher than I wanted but still tasty. Got the cheese board for dessert. Was delicious. Would recommend. Will definitely return and was very affordable!

The menu is wonderful, varied with some lovely options. It was a perfect dining experience, in the stunning settings of Hayfield Manor.

We spent the day driving and sight-seeing coming from Dublin so we decided to eat in Perrotts as we were staying at the Hayfield Manor Hotel. Food was fresh, well-prepared and provided with excellent service.

The restaurant is in a hotel, in a very quiet environment. Next to the University buildings with easy private parking. Decoration is not Architectural Digest style, but it does the job. Excellent and very professional service. The menu is short but products are fresh, well cooked, and of good quality. The wine list is impressive with even two Spanish « dealcooholized » wines...to be avoided. I tasted the red. It smells like vinegar and tastes like diluted grape juice. Apart from this faute de goût, everything was fine.
