I'd be a man for supping porter and in my humble opinion the Guinness here is second to none. The service in the premises was wonderful and one barman caught my eye... Brian was simply delightful his warm conversation and dashing looks kept me wanting more and more...and boy did he give me more... Porter. The music was great and really got me in the mood. I said to myself, by God the boom is back. Overall feeling 10/10 porter 11/10 service and 1000/10 Brian.

My experience is this pub was nothing short of fantastic. It was my first time going and I was greeted at the door with smiles and felt like I was at home! I had a great night beside the fire with my friends and the staff were all incredible. I went back a week later and when I went in the door I was greeted with a “you are back again”, a greeting you won’t get in many city pubs nowadays. If anybody is in Cork then call in for a visit to Colm and the staff and you will never look back.

Was there last Thursday night with 3 of my friends. We all walked in and there was no hassle at all. I forgot my entire handbag in the place and a girl named holly found my bag and safely put it away. I called back in again today and holly returned the bag again back to me. I can’t explain how accommodating and how kind the staff were by even keeping my bag as most places would simply dispose of the bag. I would like to truly thank holly and all the staff behind the bar and the man attempting to take down umbrellas for being so accommodating and kind. I cannot recommend costigans enough and I look foward to coming back again

We can't thank Colm and his staff enough for making us feel so welcome in his pub. My wife and I were in Cork for five days and we made Costigan's our "go to" place for a pint (or two or three) and some great conversation. Whether you want to stop by for a drink in quiet solitude or engage in a lively discussion, Costigan's has it. I also want to point out how diligent they are in terms of COVID compliance.
Colm, THANK YOU for the great memories! We'll certainly be back the next time we are in Ireland.
