This is the best place in Cork City for seafood.

Reasonably priced, tasty food, great atmosphere and attentive staff.

If you haven't been you are missing out.

We popped in here for a quick bite to eat on a midweek evening and really enjoyed it.

Everything runs so smoothly in here, it's a joy to visit. We took a seat at the high tables overlooking the river, with a great view. We shared the mixed seafood plate, and practically fought over the mussels they were so good. It came with fresh oysters and a salmon pate as well. Good bread, a nice start!

I had sole on the bone, and my companion had more mussels (served with a different sauce I think), loved both dishes. Perfectly cooked, nice and quick. With a crisp glass of wine as well, it hit the spot nicely.

Well done fish bar!

A neat place to eat and look over the river. Food was small plate style and not expensive! It is upstairs above the main restaurant.

Four of us ate in the Fish Bar, just upstairs in Electric, and everyone was delighted with their choice.
A new experience, with a tapas styled menu, made up completely of fish dishes set on high stools & tables with a great view of the River Lee.

Very friendly staff and a view of the kitchen's dealings which was great as it was like a preview watching the various dishes being served up.

The food itself was delicious- couldn't fault it for anything.
The fish pate was mouth wateringly good &the crab mornay was savage but the monkfish on special was the showstopper.
All good portion sizes and the mixed selection of sides were also great!

Will definitely be back..

Went last night for dinner. Lovely informal setting with an open kitchen and great waiting staff. We had oysters to share for starters, red Thai prawn curry and fish tacos. A nice bottle of wine and a French coffee to finish. €80 in total. Good value food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Walk-in only.
