The room was cramped and vile, and not anything like the pictures that were displayed online. We should have been paid to stay at this hostel. On arrival, the lady who gave us our keys was quite friendly, and it wasn't until we returned from the city that we encountered the horrible being that was their night porter. So, if you plan on going for a few drinks in Cork and returning to this place, don't.
As for the beds, there was dried blood and white stains ( use your imagination ) on the vast majority of the beds. So if you care about hygiene at all, think of staying elsewhere. We also ended up spending a small fortune on a public car park that was a fair distance from the hostel because there is no parking available overnight.More
