All of the reception staff we dealt with were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a parking space around the back in the hotel's small car park(30 spaces approx). I think it was 12 euros a day. You can park at the railway station across the bridge for 9 euros for 24 hours. The hotel was spotless, the room was very comfortable and quite large ...213 overlooking the harbour. I did send an email 2 weeks prior requesting a view and it was honoured so we were very grateful for that. The bed and linens were very comfortable the pillows like rocks so slept badly. The breakfast was extensive and great value at 12.50 for a buffet cooked and continental. Trust me you don't want to be walking the streets in the rain looking for a breakfast. Really good quality. Overall the hotel is excellent, spotless, and very comfortable right in the heart of the city. Sadly the hotel is let down by the breakfast staff at the greeting desk, scruffy,unkempt and wrinkled "uniforms" who preferred to natter at the bar than clear tables. The bar staff also left a lot to be desired only one young lady was excellent with great customer skills. Invariably when I went to the bar I was met with"alright?"
