I love the Imperial. The floor plan of the hotel doesnt make a lot of sense-- you'll go down 1 step and two feet later go up three, and there will be no room in between, but it just adds to the overall charm of the place. The rooms can be described in the same way, I never know what kind of room I'll get even though I book the same kind each time. Sometimes the bathrooms are massive, some times tiny, and the same goes for the rooms too. It's great.
The food is consistently good (I particularly like the mushrooms that taste like pizza), and the breakfast buffet is great.
The Location can't be beat. Overall a perfect choice to stay while in Cork.
