We had a fabulous trip to southwest Ireland exploring the Ring of Kerry, the Kerry cliffs, Skellig ring and a lovely chocolate factory. John was very informative, pointing out areas of interest and recommending restaurants and hikes, as well as local culture and customs. It was a very relaxing tour of the Irish countryside. John knows the area intimately, having grown up on a countryside, showing us his glen, school house and family home. He took us to Cill Reilig, an artist retreat on a mountain side. John is trustworthy, reliable and fun. He presents an authentic view of life in this breath-taking part of the world.

It was our incredibly good fortune to have found John O’Connell at Cork Luxury Travel to help us plan and execute our trip-of-a-lifetime to Ireland. I can’t say enough about John from Cork Luxury Travel & his all he has to offer!

He was far more than just an excellent driver (which is critical on many of Ireland’s narrow, windy roads), he’s a wealth of information, appears to know all the right people along the way & is, obviously, highly thought of by everyone we encountered. He’s also a master at managing to find parking no matter how scarce. : )

We also enjoyed his personal company immensely & were genuinely sad to say goodbye having spent 3 wonderful days with him.
