Nice clean modern hotel in Cork City centre.
Check in/out very quick.
Stayed in room with one double and one single bed so was a bit small.
Clean room with good rain shower.
Breakfast was ok with good selection.
Seemed to be a lack of staff around reception, bar and breakfast area.
Overall it was a nice hotel

I stayed recently and a very average experience. No complementary umbrellas when lashing rain outside. Reception didn't know a street a minutes walk away. Room was good and comfortable beds. However, the breakfast was the worst I ever experienced and I'm not a fussy eater. I felt ill all day with the thought of it. Cold bacon and watery cold scrambled eggs. It was rotten and don't know why when it's not difficult to put together a half decent breakfast. Management need to sample this breakfast to understand
I stayed here very recently and have to say this was a very nice hotel, with lovely, friendly staff.
I ate in the bar and the food was good, service at the bar was excellent.
Breakfast was disappointing however. Much of what I had on my plate form the hot breakfast buffet was cold... Bacon was cold, Scrambled Eggs were cold, plate was cold..... The coffee was decent mind you
Again as this is a "city centre" location the parking is a walk away but one that I would like to have to do in the rain.
Love the Maldron hotel great staff and great location always stay there can't wait to go back. The rooms are comfortable, And it's near the shops the bus station and the hospital is only 10 - 15 minutes walk away the one we needed. Very handy.
This hotel is in central Cork, just one block off the pedestrian mall. It’s not a bad walk to st. Finbarres cathedral or to the English market. The room we had was very modern, with a/c, lovely bathroom and comfy beds and chairs. Breakfast was excellent, with really a wonderful choice of foods. Recommended if you’re visiting Cork.
The Maldron Hotel South Mall is a modern place only a couple of years old. Rooms are comfortable, quite spacious and they're air conditioned. It's close to the city centre. We enjoyed a very good breakfast.
