Visited as a party of 4,who didn't know what to eat.I had the crispy chilli beef with fried rice, daughter had beef with black bean and noodles and the other 2 had malay chicken satay, one with chips, one fried rice.Service was very fast and food very tasty, on the down side it was quite cold there and because it was so quiet, maybe a bit of light music on the speakers? Would go back. Mains only €10 good for evening time. No MSG on menu.

The place was recommended by our host and we couldn`t say enough about it. Lovely, clean, friendly, reasonable, super tasty and so on. They have a great deal of starter+main+Beer or glass of wine for 16.80. Very reasonable and plentiful and the service was excellent. would recommend without hesitation.

On Sunday night I tried Amber, with a bit of reluctance as the restaurant was a bit quiet. However, the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. I had the black bean chicken which was delicious and my boyfriend ate the cashew chicken which was equally as nice.

We arrived in Ennis late after a day at Cliffs of Moher. We initially went into a nearby pub but the kitchen was already closed. As we learned during our week in Ireland, if you're hungry and traveling late, you'd better have food packed with you, or you'll go hungry. It was 10 p.m. and we were advised that Amber was the only place in the entire city that was serving food that "late" on a Saturday night.

Amber is located near the center of town up a narrow staircase. There was no one else there, and the only person we saw during our visit was our friendly, charmingly shy waiter. The decorsis eclectic and fun, with touches like repurposed paint-rollers serving as light-shades in the main dining area.

There were four of us - two orders of pineapple chicken, one of the crispy beef, and a noodle entree. The pineapple chicken was a big hit, with the pineapple being exceptionally sweet and fresh. The crispy beef and the noodles were also very good, with all the orders accompanied by perfectly cooked white rice (although we noticed the that the entrees can be ordered with chips (fries) instead of rice. Those potato-loving Irish. :)

Prices are reasonable, each entree at 10 Euros, and they were running a special - starter (appetizer), entree and a glass of wine or beer for 16 Euro, which, for food of this quality, is a real bargain.

Lovely food- good value.
They have a range of authentic Asian/ Thai/ Japanese food.
I had the calamari as starter and Sichuan noodles with beef.
It was actually very good!
Went on a Monday but still a number of couples, ladies who chat and dine.

This is good for Ennis- as can be quiet in April.
You have a choice of decent house wines or beer by the bottle.
Nice up-market surroundings- so overall, very happy!
