Hotel is set in lovely grounds and friendly Highland cow neighbours. It is very quiet but only a short distance from town and beach. Our room was spacious, clean with a generous bathroom. Really good restaurant and good choice for breakfast.

We had an overnight stay with our 7year old grandson, having stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years, have to say it was an enjoyable overnight stay. Things are a bit different due to Covid but staff very nice and restaurant staff very attentive. Had to pre order breakfast for 3 and have to say orders were exactly as asked and again staff were very attentive and getting extra juice and toast was no problem. Only thing that could have been improved upon was the old carpets that were lying on the grass at the back, I assume some rooms must have had new carpeting during lockdown this was what we were looking out to from out family room and the open bottle skip was just below our window. But otherwise all good and will definitely be back.

We had a 4 night stay here recently. It's a lovely hotel in a nice setting. The locals are very friendly. Staff at the hotel are lovely. Breakfast was really good, and we had one evening meal which was also good. Covid-19 measures are reassuring. The only downside was the wi-fi which was really unreliable. If you're going to rely on this for anything important, don't!

Everything was excellent. All the covid precautions were in place. Food was really nice especially the fish and chips. The main thing was on our last morning I had done my back and could hardly get out of bed so against the rules they brought my breakfast to the room. That is what I call 5 star service.
Hotel was very quirky lots of unuasal ornaments. Perfect stay.

Lovely part of Scotland.

The food was nice and the breakfast staff were lovely.

The 2 waiters (black haired chap and grey haired chap) who were working in the Charlie Chaplin restaurant where we had dinner were really friendly and were working really hard.

Unfortunately dealing with the lady at reception and witnessing how she was speaking to other guests the night before in the bar area was really disappointing.

I currently work in the Health and Safety Industry myself and you can be strict with COVID rules but you do not need to be rude!
