Just returned from Sunny Brae after staying a night. Highly recommended this accommodation.
Rachel and John gave us such a lovely welcome and are extremely friendly.
The room was beautiful overlooking the sea and absolutely immaculate.
Social distancing and sanitizers were available making you feel safe but not taking away the warmth from the place or hosts.
The breakfast was fresh and of such an excellent quality.
My friends and ourselves would definitely be happy to return here again

Room tip: Was in room 6 . Extremely spacious with sea view.

A short but thoroughly enjoyable stay. With a gracious host, well maintained rooms and an excellent location it was all we could have wished for. ‘Old-fashioned’ is often used as a negative but Sunny Brae epitomises all that is good about the phrase. Highly recommended (and an excellent breakfast too).

My wife and I stayed here for just one night in early November, unfortunately the weather wasn’t very good but Rachel and John gave us a very warm welcome to Sunny Brae. Our room was front facing and in spite of the rain we had good sea views. The bed was large and very comfortable, with a good shower in the en-suite, we’re not keen on baths.
Breakfast was lovely, everything one could want was on offer, and the cooked food was delicious.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Two excellent hosts in a lovely location - they gave good advice about where to have dinner. Rooms are airy, very well furnished, comfortable and beautifully clean. Breakfast was superb. It is within a short walk of the town and nearby restaurants. Overall, one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in.
