We arrived at Allt-nan-Ros on my birthday to be surprised by the sheer luxury of our home for the week. We were greeted by Tina with a much welcome hug after being diverted due to an accident on the A82. She also helped via text with alternative routes and accommodated our later arrival.
The view is absolutely stunning and I could have sat on the balcony with my book and a cuppa all week. Great to have a wee rocky beach on the doorstep and we have returned to Ayrshire with several big stones for the garden....my husband is a geologist and was amazed at the varying stones found.
The apartment was well kitted out and finished to a high degree. Location was close to everything we needed and not far at all from Fort William or Glencoe. We would not hesitate to book again.
We stayed at this apartment for a long weekend on the ground floor apartment. Don’t let this out you off as the view was stunning. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a peaceful location. The apartment is clean, modern with all the necessities you need.
My family and I were blown away with this fantastic flat. Clean, comfortable, amazing view of the Loch. The area had so much to offer, and this apartment was perfect to come home to after our long, adventurous days. Though we only met sweet Tina who greeted us the 1st day, Bernadine was fantastic via text message as well. I HIGHLY recommend this lovely place.
I seriously doubt there is a better place to stay in this area. Fort William looks like it’s full of depressing chintzy B&Bs and guest houses but these apartments, about a 15 minute drive outside town, are in a beautifully spruced up house and are gorgeous, warm and cosy inside. We stayed on the top floor and it’s decorated like a brand, spanking new, boutique hotel. The bedrooms are huge, comfortable, and tasteful, and the bathroom has a great shower, with good pressure. The kitchen/diner/lounge is really comfortable and just what you need to relax in after a day of walking or messing about in the water. It has a massive tv but you don’t need it because you can just sit on the sofa and stare out the window at the loch and mountains on the opposite side. Every room has this view, through huge windows. The apartment even has a boot room to dry all your wet stuff.
We were met by a lovely lady called Tina who was really nice and helpful and even came back the next day to bring me a normal duvet as I am allergic to feather. Without being asked, she also brought over some more non-feather pillows.
If I came back to this part of the world I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It doesn’t matter that you’re a bit of a drive outside Fort William, it’s absolutely worth the extra 15 minutes it takes to get to, say, Ben Nevis, to be able to stay somewhere this great. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough!
