As I was invited to stay at this inn... and as i tested their Catering facilities too, here my personal point of view:
I am used to come here since 2013.
At that time it was not perfect but year after year you see the definite commitment of the Owners to improve and upgrade.
They concentrated first on the Spa area. Then the out door aspect and finally started to refit some rooms from 01 to 24. These are still not 100 pct but really acceptable.
From 24 to 40 or so rooms are out of date and need definite refreshment.
Seems that on the right side of the main entrance they accommodate guests too, but cannot comment on this part as I never attended that hotel wing yet.
Bar and front desk are cosy and you can have diner there too
In the restaurant, a friendly staff shall accommodate your wealthy breakfast and evening diner.
Restaurant's amenities are like the food, cold inpersonal and strict... but good and menu change daily
Luckily and if you entend to stay more nights book via the hotel Web as they offer all in rates all year including afternoon tea and supper.
Really good alternative for 3 nights stay or more
Friendly staff, committed Management to improve the hotel accommodation
They earn 3* from me at present really not more
