Comfortable hotel with welcoming fire in the guest lounge. Friendly staff. We had a room overlooking the loch which was well furnished and nicely decorated. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening which was delicious. I would imagine this is one of the best places to eat in Fort William. The breakfasts were equally very good.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Fort William. Ideal for dogs and they even set us up a table on our own so we could sit with the dog at breakfast. The shower was amazing especially after a log day walking. The only downfall was the room was slightly dark even with the shutters open. All in all a fab hotel within walking distance of some lovely dog friendly pubs

Fort William is not the greatest town to stay in but the Lime Tree makes up for it. Lovely rooms - we stayed in two and they were both nice. And there is a real fire crackling in one of the sitting rooms apparently every day of the year. The food was really good too - and again there is not a lot of choice of good meals out in Fort William - if you check on trip advisor for somewhere to eat in the daytime Mcdonalds gets five stars followed by the Morrison's cafe at three and a half - enough said. If you stay at the Lime Tree say hello to the very friendly Cory the dog.

Had dinner here, unfortunately didnt get chance to stay. Food was the best we had in Fort William. Beautifully and imaginatively presented, served with a smile. The staff couldnt do enough for us. Interesting, quirky, creative surroundings, very cosy. Will definitely eat- and hopefully stay- again.

We stayed here for one night before we set off for Mallaig
The hotel is lovely and dog friendly which is a bonus and only a 5 quid surcharge. The lounge room had a lovely fire and the staff couldn’t do enough for you with waitress service from the bar to our comfy seat by the fire.
Breakfast was lovely and great coffee
We had room one with a tub for two and a huge fire and the four poster bed was so comfy.
A fab little hotel and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Fort William.
