We booked Hillbiew House for 10 nights as our daughter was getting married in a nearby church at Redcastle
The house is an excellent condition, great layout and spacious downstairs with the most amazing view across the Murray Firth. The house is equipped with everything that you can possibly think of.
The upstairs ensuite bedroom is very light with the velux windows and blackout blinds.. There is some noise from vehicles crossing the bridge but after a couple of days you do not notice it
The hosts were very accommodating as we needed to be able to store a classic car that was going to be used for our daughters wedding. They do not usually open up the garage as it is used for storage but they cleared it out especially for us - very grateful, thank you !
Pets are welcome and there is a good size garden for them to run a round in
There is plenty of parking - expect to be able to park approx 10 cars if needed
There are many local historic places to visit - we managed a couple, Culloden Moor and Brodie Castle. Lock Ness is close by and Urquart Castle is worth a visit
We had an amazing 10 nights and have recommended to our in-laws as they live in nearby Kilmuir and regularly have visitors
Look forward to a return visit in future years

This is an absolutely wonderful home, with five star amenities throughout! Views from the back yard are stunning; convenient to the highways and well located to start your adventures through the Highlands. To top things off, the owners are absolutely the best. Responsive, considerate and generous with a wonderful welcome package in the dining room. Thanks for everything !!
We stayed in hill house for 3nights,4days. its an awesome and beautiful house with everything you need. You will get every luxury you need within the house starting frm living room till kitchen and bedrooms. even 5star hotels cant compete with the luxury. everything is so tidy, clean and very spacious for kids to play around with nice garden outside and beautiful views from living room windows.pictures dont do much justice, its more beautiful in real. i mainly loved the kitchen and the branded crockery provided :) i will surely go back again, just to stay in this house and have a relaxing time.

At about £200 a day, this is not the cheapest holiday rental. However, it is well worth it.
It can accommodate 8 people. There was only 5 of us and a dog, so each of the groups had a really comfortable bedroom, plus an exclusive bathroom as there's three total.
The location is a 10-15 minute drive to the Rose St parking in the centre of Inverness. Really easy drive, but not practical to walk into town.
We got directions and information on the house well in advance, so getting in was extremely easy. The road up the hill is narrow though, keep this in mind if you're driving a larger car (or a Tourneo minibus as we were!) as it can be a rather tight fit.
We had a welcome pack on arrival which was very convenient, plus linen and towels.
Views are absolutely beautiful, and our dog loved the garden.

HIllview House is situated in quiet North Kessock, just a small drive outside of Inverness. The rooms are spacious, the welcome basket delightful, the fireplace cozy, the WiFi strong, and the kitchen large and well stocked with plates, cups, and pans. Great place to base our day trips to Skye, various castles, Loch Ness, Ft. Agustus, distilleries, etc. Owner was very responsive and cheerful. Couldn't have been happier with our choice.
