We love Contrast! Always such a treat dining here. When I rang to book a table, I asked if it was possible to be seated by the window as it’s our favourite spot and casually mentioned it was our son’s 18th. Upon arrival, not only was our request granted but our son was offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate! We thought that was so thoughtful and kind. Also, when his sorbet came out, they had added a lovely concoction of wee dessert treats complete with a candle and an iced birthday message.
Above and beyond and greatly appreciated.
All three courses were gorgeous and the service was impeccable. Very happy customers.
Thank you very much for an exceptionally lovely evening.

Previously stayed over so took the safe option and booked again. Sadly the double room this time was quite musty, walls looked like they needed a paint.

Room surfaces were clean, Double bed was comfy but the Carpet didn’t look like it had been hovered.

Bathroom was spotless but the blind was a bit shabby. Shower was very good.

Breakfast was good, friendly waitress.

It’s okay but not what it was 2 years ago.
Will be trying elsewhere next time.

We stayed here for one night only. We’ll definitely be back. Room was lovely, staff are so friendly and do everything to help. My partner is vegan and the food we both ate for our evening meal and breakfast was delicious. We sat out at night for a drink - beautiful sitting looking onto the river and trees all lit up. I left a charging cable in the room. The hotel posted it to me the next day, before is even noticed I’d left it. Felt very safe during Covid, lots of measures in place. Thank you.

Had a 3 course lunch here with family - this is a beautifully decorated hotel and restaurant and the food presentation was clearly well thought out. No issue with starter and desert but main courses were poor- steak came out COLD and had to be reheated. Disappointed to not be offered some money off the bill for this as a reheated steak is not good! Dry chicken aswell. Waitress was lovely but we were sat for a good while before anyone took a drinks order- should be done as soon you sit down IMO. Not worth the money overall sadly- had high expectations given the lovely decor

Stayed here in October for a mini break in Inverness. Initially with a sat Mac it was a bit hard to find due to some local road closures and one way signs but we got there in the end. We was very pleasantly surprised. Check in was very straight forward and fast, up the stairs and into the room (number 4) front facing on the river. See the pictures!!

A very large en-suite with a crib for the baby. Large comfy bed and a nice warm comfortable room.

We were very tired so didn’t go down the the restaurant. Instead, we ordered room service. The food was amazing and the selection of whiskeys was huge!!

The next morning we went down for the breakfast, nice area to eat in and a large selection to choose from. Breakfast was very nice.

Service was impeccable, hotel couldn’t have been in a better location or the views any more fantastic. Will 100% return and recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Inverness.

Thanks!!
