We loved our stay at the Loch Ness Country House. We had an expansive and exceedingly comfortable room. The hotel management and employees could not have been more helpful. Also, we were unexpectedly surprised at the quality of our food in their restaurant. They have an excellent chef!

We stayed in the cottage in the back of the property. Despite the gorgeous grounds, our rooms were musty, the carpets were very worn and dingy, of course there wasn’t any air conditioning, and breakfast was minimal. One night we had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk. We wish we had chosen a place in town.

Room Tip: This hotel is a few miles out of Inverness, proper.

From the moment we got there until we left, we felt like we were visiting a family home. The rooms were lovely with lots of space and the meals were delicious! All the staff were super friendly and were very attentive to our needs (2 had food allergies). The only negative thing was the lack of water pressure in the second floor rooms.

I look for positives when reviewing. The location of the hotel is good, lovely d building and nice gardens.

We dined as a group of 40 - we had pre-ordered our meal and the majority of people had the same main course.

The service was slow and the food was bland.

I’ve eaten at this hotel before and it was better - I’ll put this experience down to a bad day!

Amazing!! 3 of us had afternoon tea at LNCHH. Excellent service from welcoming friendly staff. The food was to die for. Fantastic quality and quantity. Sandwiches, soup (yes soup!) , scones and cakes. Too much to comment on. Try it for yourself. Highly recommended.
